Not in Switzerland

My promise to myself to keep away from talking politics and getting headache is broken again. Cause again there are more tragic news I read..So I will share some of my almost daily new round while drinking my coffee..
The Lebanese journalist Samir Alkasir was murdered. He was different from many other Lebanese, he was not one of those who said we don't mean to interfere or talk about the internal of Syria, we just want Lebanon to be free. He went further..Calling for democracy both in Lebanon and Syria, and criticizing the mukhabarat in both countries. In his last article he talked about even all small tiny daily details still controlled in Syrians' lives , in the same time as a lot are talking about upcoming reforms and improved situation.
Not only Lebanese lost a brave voice calling for democracy, but Syrians as well, lost a journalist who was also Syrian not only Lebanese..(He father was Syrian).
You can read here some of his recent articles.

Well, no matter what and who you beleive, the truth is hard to get without brave living journalists.
And news are also talking about Khaznawi, to alquds his son said: ما نجل الراحل، محمد مراد الخزنوي، فقال بيانات وزارة الداخلية ليرموها في البحر.. المجرمون الذين قتلوا والدنا نعرفهم تماما وسنصدر بيانا بذلك ، من دون ان ان يعطي تفاصيل.
وتابع محمد مراد الخزنوي وهو احد انجال الشيخ الكردي الستة عشر، لو كنت في سويسرا لاخبرتكم عن الحقيقة ولكننا الآن في سوري
ة
Whatever happend, and apart from politics
and all that, my heart is with their families and loved ones. Horrible to loose some one this way.

Ahh Catherine, you better not start writing about politics too much: It gets addictive after a while and then it's hard to stop, and where you are at, it could be a dangerous habit.

I can't imagine what it feels like to be a syrian and living in Syria these days, especially with everything that is going on on the inetrnational stage and everything. Especially if all that you want is to live in peace and for Syria to get better.

thanks.. a lot... I couldn't have said it better...

with all do respect to everyone who's calling for democracy in (Lebanon, Syria... )/// they got a lot to learn from Samir QASIR..

they gotta learn that there's no real freedom in Beirut unless Damascus gets her own.. and there's no real democracy for SYRIAN-kurds until all syrians get their own!! and there's no safety for iraqis until syrians are safe in their own houses... and VISE VERSA for all!!!!!!

today's the Baath party congress, set aside all my feelings about this whole idea, (I think i've done a great job expressing them!).... I would like to see this party alive again as a political party... not as a Mafia cover-up!!! I'm not Baathist, I just feel like, at these exact moments, when ppl like Samir QASIR get blown up in their own cars, I think we need every single idea to get out of this mess, no matter how radical it is, as long as it aknowledges that nobody has the whole truth!! that there isn't a whole truth!!! and that Syria is for ALL Syrians to build... not for a few to suck the life out of it...
