Another blog, but different?
There are allready many Syrian and arabic blogs..But I hope to be able to offer a new point of view.
Unfortunally I will write in english and not arabic, I don't have arabic on my computer or an arabic keyboard.
In Syria the majority of the population are young pepole, yet you don't hear them often talk about the country or politics, in a country like Syria it's not a myserty.
It's easier to hear them talk about new songs and celebrities, or you just don't hear them at all..
I am trying here to clet my little voice be heard as a young Syrian female.

Hi,Just wanna wish you all the best with your bog…
Me too I have always asked myself the same question: Why are we so silent? Where are the voices of the young generation? We have the biggest stake in what is going on and yet we are still idle. It baffles the mind….
BTW I was also afraid of starting a Blog in English (because I don’t have an Arabic keyboard), but after seeing how you solved this problem (copy-paste), I think I will give it a shot…
Keep up the good work!
Catherine, welcome to the Syrian blogsphere! The increasing number of Syrian blogs will hopefully encourage more and more Syrians to blog and make themselves heard.
I wish you the best of luck.
good job Catherine, I read all of the posts and I'm impressed. keep it up
Ahlan ya Bent ELSham. It's nice having you although we would have loved to read you in Arabic.
As an Egyptian, I found it impressive how quiet the streets of Syrian cities and towns are :)
A just an off topic notion. Of course making your voice heard doesn't necessitate being noisy. Something I wish we could learn.
أهلا بيكي
Welcome to the blogosphere , I always talk politics with friends and family and acquaintances and everywhere. My parents think I'll get arrested someday :) ...do you still wanna hang around with me? I look forward to meeting all the syrian bloggers soon .
